These large see-through pots are great cost-effective pots for when you want to keep an eye out on the roots of your plant. 

Perfect for tropical species
These pots are best suited for moisture-loving plants like Aroids, Alocasia's, Calathea's, Maranta's & orchids as they are non-porous, meaning the water can't breathe out. Terracotta & other clay pots are porous, meaning they breathe out moisture.

Due to their large drainage holes & transparency, they are especially useful for thick-rooted plants that have to be watered often, like Orchids or Aroids. These pots are made from PP5 plastic and 100% recyclable.

Special drainage holes
These aroid pots contain larger drainage holes preventing waterlogging, due to the bottom coming up into the pot, the water tension breaks easier. This prevents a small layer of water from sitting at the bottom of the pot. This is a common issue with nursery pots. There are also side-slits that allow the water to evaporate from the sides of the pots.

They also have a side slit that drains out, which is useful for larger tall pots as the middle part can stay wet for too long, causing root rot and other issues.

Both our SYBASoil & semi-hydro mediums like LECA, Sphagnum moss, Perlite & SYBA Hydro mix (pon only for cacti, or place it in a decorative pot so there is still a water reservoir) work great with these pots.

Hvornår skal man bruge en stor rund aroidea-/ orkidépotte?

Du kan bruge en stor rund aroid- eller orkidépotte til fugtelskende planter som aroider, alocasia, calathea, maranta og orkidéer, da de ikke er porøse, hvilket betyder, at vandet ikke kan ånde ud.

Hvilken SYBASoil/jord skal jeg bruge til min store runde aroid/orchid-potte?

Både vores SYBASoil-serie og hydromedier som lerkugler, perlit og pimpsten fungerer fremragende sammen med disse potter. Vi anbefaler ikke at bruge vores SYBAStones-serie sammen med disse potter, da drænhullerne kan få dette medium til at lække igennem.

Hvordan transplanterer man en plante i en stor rund aroid- eller orkidépotte?

Plant din plante om, som du normalt gør. Fjern den gamle jord, læg et lag SybaSoil i bunden af potten, læg planten i, og fyld resten af potten op med jord. Lad de øverste 2 cm af potten være uden jord, så det er nemt at vande.

Hvordan vander jeg mine planter i en stor rund aroid/orkidé-potte?

Vand dine planter grundigt ved at vande det øverste jordlag, indtil jorden er mættet. Lad potten dryppe helt af uden for dekorationspotten, før du sætter den tilbage i dekorationspotten.
